Paul Harris Fellow recognition

Paul Harris Fellow recognition The presentation of Paul Harris Fellow recognition is The Rotary Foundationís way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs. It is named for our founder, Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates in 1905.

Rotarians often designate a Paul Harris Fellow as a tribute to a person whose life demonstrates a shared purpose with the objectives of the Rotary Foundation. This year we have the honour and pleasure of recognizing Peter OíReilly and Sylvester Rowe as they are awarded a Paul Harris Fellow.

They were designated to receive this recognition as a special expression of appreciation from the Navan Rotary Club for all their past work. The awards were presented at the 2014 Presidents Night celebration by President Sean Lynch and District Governor Verity Swan, District 1160
