Navan Rotary Club Kids Day Out 2017

The 2017 Navan Rotary KidsOut Day took place on Wednesday the 7th of June

Thousands of children with special needs enjoyed a memorable day on Wednesday June 7th when they took part in the annual Rotary KidsOut Day Ė the largest day out for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK and Ireland.

More than 25,000 children and their carers will be taken on trips to the seaside, zoos, safari parks, museums, theme parks, and farms across the UK, organised by hundreds of Rotary clubs across Great Britain and Ireland. Hundreds of venues will be visited with more than 1,700 volunteers, supported by local authorities, police and fire services, working to ensure the day is as safe as it is special for children and their carers.

Once again Navan Rotary Club continued their association with St. Ultanís Special School, Flower Hill, and St. Maryís Johnstown, Navan, taking the 75 pupils and 34 adults to TAYTO PARK.

Tayto Park is a crisp/chip themed amusement park, located in Kilbrew, near Ashbourne in County Meath.

It is Irelandís only Theme Park and offers a huge variety of things to see, do and experience, and all the young people enjoyed the fun and exciting activities.
